A$AP HIRE: DAU L3 SYSTEM ENGINEER LEVEL IV (Ft. Belvoir, VA) to support the HQ Program Acquisition and Program Assessment (PAPA) Directorate as its "Science and Technology Lead," a DoD customer of our Prime.

This is an ASAP hire, requiring an DAU level 3 certification, an Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Management degree PLUS (+) at least 10 years general/relevant experience.

This position is available now for an immediate fill.

EDUCATION & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Successful completion of a full course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a Master's Degree, preferably with a major in Engineering, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems Management (non-negotiable) , or a related discipline, and DAU Level III certification in PM, or the civilian equivalent, are desired. A combination of a Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management. DAU Level III certification in PM, and ten (10) years of experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree.

General Experience
Ten (10) years of general experience and five (5) years of experience in a program office or similar organization

PERFORMANCE BASED TASKS REQUIRED

** The candidate serve as the HQ Program Acquisition and Program Assessment (PAPA) Directorate science and technology lead, as well as the primary entry point for the integration of science and new technologies into current and future FPS products/systems.

** The candidate shall plan, design, and implement mass notification and warning systems.

** The candidate shall assist in applying scientific and engineering efforts and analyzing their associated measures of effectiveness to transform an operational need into the system configuration which best satisfies the requirement.

** The candidate shall integrate related technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and technical program interfaces to optimize the total system definition and design.

** The candidate shall provide input to and conduct assessments on physical programs needs and the Priorities Capability Gap Assessment.

** The candidate shall evaluate analytical instrumentation software for interoperability and common data formats.

** The candidate shall provide program and strategic planning, including development of sustainment strategies and project plans.

** The candidate shall review and provide input to acquisition documentation (i.e., LCMP, TES, TDS, TEMP, LCCE, SEP, APB, PDR and CDR, PESHE, LCSP, PPP, Procurement and P&R Forms, and PAO documents) in support of program milestone decisions.

** The candidate shall coordinate and provide input to the monthly FPS portfolio reports, developed from the ASRs and quarterly advanced development reports.

** The candidate shall coordinate and conduct analyses and assessments of technical management processes at pre-briefs and briefs for program reviews (e.g., JLCMRs, portfolio assessments, etc.).

** The candidate shall be able to provide input in the following areas: information technology software, hardware and network communication technology and protocols; CS2100 feature and switch operation, electronic and ISDN digital lines, digital phones, cable distribution, 10 base t-LAN's, ESNA voicemail and Session Initiated Protocol; Programming principles and scripting; Latest generation of computer languages in a distributed or client server environment: networking operating systems software internals and UNIX, Windows-based operating systems and networking.
